Pitch & Punt participating broadcasters release a theme for a documentary or series they are seeking and commit a development cash prize.
A call for applications is made and projects are short listed by the participating commissioning editors.
All short-listed applicants are required to register for the AIDC 2007 in order to pitch.
The selected finalists are then invited to pitch their project to the commissioning editors from the participating networks in a session at the AIDC.
One project is selected as the winner to be put into development.
