The AIDC is only as good as its delegates make it, so thank you to everyone who stepped up, had their say and submitted their session idea.
Submit A Session opened 3 October 2006 and closed 6 November 2006, after extending the deadline.
The Conference Director and Local Management Committee will discuss the session ideas and program contributions, along with the suggested moderators and speakers.
We will contact you by Friday 17 November 2006 if your submission is selected for the program.
If successful you get to produce the session! This gives you a rewarding opportunity to get involved with the leading people in your field of interest. There is a bit of organisation to do but, after all, you're now a session producer.
How to be a Session Producer
As a session producer you are part of the AIDC team, and we need you to:
- Confirm your moderator and speakers. You may choose anywhere from one up to four speakers. OR propose alternates should they be unavailable, by Friday 24 November 2006
- Email us a description of your session, in 100 words or less, suitable for the Program book, plus a biography, 100 word or less, and a headshot photo for your session moderator and all your speakers by Friday 1 December 2006
- Ensure your moderator and all speakers are registered delegates by Friday 1 December 2006
- Distribute a Technical Requirement Form and a Release Form to your moderator and all speakers, to be given to you by AIDC
- Ensure these above two forms are then returned to the AIDC by Monday 23 January 2007
- Fill in and distribute a running order and a contact list to your moderator, all speakers and the AIDC by Monday 23 January 2007, an example to be given to you by the AIDC
How to be a Moderator
Keep a lively and invigorating session going by introducing speakers, paying attention to the running order for speakers, and running your session to time.
