AIDC and its sister event the Adelaide Film Festival are perfect siblings! The AFF will hold screenings at three cinemas around Adelaide, all within easy walking distance of the Hilton venue, or via a free CityLink bus service from outside the Hilton. The 15 minute stroll will help you burn off a few calories to fit in that choc-top icecream!
The Conference does not have a screening program. Our sister event is the Adelaide Film Festival. Submissions to their screening program have now closed, but please look at their website for future reference. An opportunity within the Conference to make your finished documentary available is Videotheque
The Adelaide Film Festival 2007 program will range from the intensely political to the sublimely artistic, and celebrate a breadth of documentary production styles. It will showcase numerous Australian and world premiere screenings, and present a range of events with visiting international and Australian filmmakers.
Even better, they are offering a fantastic discounted rate of $10 a ticket for AIDC delegates! That's a third off the standard single ticket price of $15. You'll need to show your AIDC wristband and pass, with details of how to book this fantastic deal coming!
So enjoy the Adelaide Film Festival, with world premieres scheduled especially for AIDC. 2007 Highlights online now!
The Adelaide Film Festival is proudly presented by Internode, and supported by the Government of South Australia through Arts SA, Australian Film Commission, ETSA and The Advertiser.
