AIDC is a distinctive mix of lively panels with plenty to debate, in-depth masterclasses to discuss, extensive marketplace to do deals and challenging screenings - a unique four-day event.

In 2007, AIDC will explore what inspires us, how to use new tools and techniques and what are best practice models in factual film making, as well as providing strong market place opportunities.

AIDC's twenty-year anniversary in 2007 gives us the opportunity to look at the past and into the future of factual filmmaking.

The program will focus on international co-production opportunities as well as the impact of new and emerging platforms on documentary production. Masterclasses with filmmakers and commissioners will offer practical and personal revelations into the current issues faced by documentary makers.

Networking opportunities are presented at the AIDC in addition to the Welcome Cocktail Party and the Closing Night Party. Introductions between film makers/producers and potential buyers will be facilitated by AIDC's industry focussed and well connected sales office team.
